Head Pins and Eye Pins are primarily used for making earrings, but they can also be used to make several other designs. Head Pins have a flat nail-like head, and Eye Pins have a loop, or eye, at one end to keep beads from slipping off. The opposite end is then made into a loop using the Beadalon Round Nose Pliers. Attach the loop to an earring finding, Remembrance Memory Wire, or a charm to drop below your design Head Pins and Eye Pins are great for beads with small holes such as fresh water pearls. Tip: Choose a Pin long enough to allow for all the beads you wish to include plus about 3/8" for the finishing loop. Use a longer Pin if you intend to twist the end back around.
